Koko Groups was born from a vision to bring authentic South Indian cuisine to Japan. Founded by Sriram, who brings over 10 years of culinary expertise, we recognized that while Japanese diners appreciate Indian food, the rich traditions of South Indian cooking remained largely unexplored. What began as a dream to share the distinctive flavors of South India—where fermented rice and lentil preparations create dishes unlike anything in North Indian cuisine—has grown into a multifaceted food ecosystem connecting two rich culinary traditions.
